New Section: Photos

After reviewing all of my rides this year, I was surprised by the sheer amount of great photos I collected. Some of them made it to the website on ride pages, while others didn’t. Rather than have people scroll through each and every page to see them all, I thought it would be a good idea to keep a best-of collection in one section. I will update this section periodically, possibly with other photo galleries for future events.

Great idea! Forgive the noob-like question, but how did you post a photo gallery in wordpress?

  It was something I stumbled on when putting this together. What I did is I uploaded all of the pictures at once and there is a button to post as a gallery. The slideshow thing is pretty cool. I’m going to play with it later. It would be nice to add nice little descriptions to each one. The only code that WordPress uses is [gallery].

  Steve, I tweaked with it a little bit and also added a slideshow. Unfortunately it does not show the descriptions in the gallery.
