Here’s another photobomb. It was a gorgeous, picturesque day, and we’ve yet to hit the higher elevations where the fall colors will be closer to peak.

Group photo at the B&B before we rolled out.

Lots of clouds were visible from the parkway, with rain fortunately far away.

The parkway looked gorgeous with the wet, fallen leaves.

Nancy, Julie and Wes riding together as a trio.

Wes soloing ahead of his group.

The lower elevations around Roanoke still had some nice scenery like this railroad.

Chuck attacking the climb with the city of Roanoke behind him in the distance.

Nice bridge view from the Roanoke Mountain lookout.

Christian descending aggressively into the rest stop.

We had a nice view of Roanoke midway through the climb.

Nice blend of agriculture and mountain scenery. Moooo!
