Blue Ridge Parkway, Day Four Photos
The entire Parkway is gorgeous, but few areas compare to the stretch of road that leads to Grandfather Mountain. Those scenes dominate the photos I took yesterday.
One of the early Stone Mountain views.
The Parkway near Doughton Park.
This was the high intensity group.
Apparently there is a little mountain home in the tree break below. I didn’t check.
Been there, climbed that.
The Linn Cove Viaduct from far away.
Another view of Grandfather Mountain.
And yet another Grandfather picture.
Another view of the bridges that lead to Grandfather Mountain.
The bright sun was immediately above the Viaduct.
